How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering to me means that I listen to my participants wants and to always remember the participant is the expert in their life. Implementing an obtainable plan while utilizing supports and available resources will allow for the participants goals to be achieved.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I believe in having autonomy when it comes to self directed care. I value the importance of what participants want and how they want to achieve their goals.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
From my background, I have had many life experiences that has allowed me to understand the importance of active listening to my participants.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy going places outside with my dog and significant other. Although I am not an artist, I enjoy to paint and color. When it's in the budget, traveling is also very enjoyable.
