How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering means to me that I am an advocate for your dreams, hopes and aspirations. When finding what things you would like to accomplish we are able to find resources and assistance that might have been lacking otherwise.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I am very passionate about being able to provide those with services and supports they might not otherwise be able to receive. I always love meeting new people and building trusting relationships .
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Working as a case manager with the Minnesota Medical assistance waiver programs has set me up for success with the IRIS program. I have the knowledge and experience working with vulnerable populations and with Medicare/Medicaid insurance.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and pets. I often will go hunting, fishing and camping with my family. I love reading non-fiction books when I get the chance. I also spend a lot of time listening to music and searching for new things to listen to. I have a huge love for sports. I usually watch hockey the most. My favorite hockey team is the San Jose Sharks.
