Prior to coming to TMG I worked as a middle school teacher, and as a fitness professional specializing in active older adults and people with disabilities. I have always had a passion for helping people achieve their goals, but it wasn't until my father had a long-term illness that I knew I wanted to do more with self-directed care. I enjoy guiding people to overcome barriers that stand in their way, and use the resources around them to realize their goals. My previous education and experiences also gave me basic conversational knowledge of the Spanish language.

Finding out what is most important to you will be my first goal in our partnership. Using resources available to us we will develop a plan ensure that your goals can be achieved.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I love using my knowledge to help guide people to live the life they want. It is important to me that everyone lives life they way they want to. We are all capable of reaching our goals, and I love to see that happen!
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have a lot of experience in community based partnerships. I've worked at the YMCA and for public school districts. I understand how to search out and use resources available to everyone in a community. All of my past experiences have helped me to become a great coach and cheerleader for my clients as they enjoy living their best lives with self-directed care.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my spare time I enjoy coaching swim team, attending my children's sporting events, gardening and reading a good book while sitting outside enjoying nature.
