Prior to coming to TMG, I worked for Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin for ten years. I provided on-the job training and instruction for those with various disabilities and barriers to employment. That experience helped me develop the skills to assist people adapt and meet or exceed their goals. During this time, I also supervised family visitations for various agencies.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
To me, partnering means truly listening to the person’s goals and not trying to establish my own preferences or influence them. It is important for all of us to have choices in life, especially when so many people are marginalized. There may be times you have a hard time expressing the things you need. It’s my job as your TMG IRIS Consultant to have conversations using open ended questions to help us figure out together what your goals, wants and needs are.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite part of being a TMG IRIS Consultant is knowing that I can help someone live the independent life they deserve, all while being part of an incredible team.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have a close relative who attended a school for the those with disabilities. His school friends were over at my home all the time, and independence was encouraged for all. My relative and his friends participated in activities, dated, married and had children. This was my normal, which made my role as a vocational trainer assisting those with various challenges very natural.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, exploring various parks my dog and Netflix.
