How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering with people means learning about them and the goals they have for themselves, then making an action plan they feel comfortable with so they can achieve those goals. First, I will work with them to identify the services and supports available to them. This will help in stretching their IRIS budget and keep the resources they need to get the care and support necessary to make those important goals a reality.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant is being able to work with people who are aging and those with disabilities.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have a background working for the Aging and Disability Resource center of Buffalo and Pepin counties and in long-term healthcare.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy camping and making memories with my friends and family.
