How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
When I first meet my participants, I introduce myself and give them all of my contact information. I try to make them comfortable with speaking with me and ask question about their interest. I also make them aware of the resources I can provide them. I constantly check in on them and ask rather they have set new goals for themselves and see rather their interest has changed.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being a TMG IRIS Consultant is hearing personal stories and helping individuals get the tools they need to achieve a self-directed life that is both successful and fulfilling.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Working at Advocate Home Health Care helped me to become very passionate and made me a lot more comfortable with my position here at TMG. I was an office manager and I often went in participants home to sign them up for our home care services. My position at Advocate home Health care gave me the experience of creating plans with participants and showed me how to empathize more with our clients and their needs.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy traveling, going to the zoo (I am a true animal lover), watching movies, and hanging out with my family.
