I worked at Catholic Charities in Milwaukee as a Case Manager for the In-Home Support Program. Most of the participants of this program were aging adults but some were also adults with varying disabilities. I also worked at Roger's Behavioral Health Adult Residential Unit for a brief period of time while I was in college. During that employment I worked third shift with adults who were experiencing moderate to severe episodes of depression, anxiety and other mental health disorders. I assisted these adults through encouraging their use of coping skills and by offering a listening ear when they felt they could not sleep.

My favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant is helping others reach their vision and goals throughout their participation of IRIS.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My past experience as a case manager at Catholic Charities has prepared me to be an IRIS Consultant by already making connections to other community organizations and services and by helping clients receive necessary services that allow them to stay in their homes.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I like to spend time with my family and friends over coffee!
