How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
By being a resource and an outlet for my individuals to feel comfortable coming to for help and redirection. Two heads are always better than one.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
Being able to help others reach and maintain their goals. A lot if times family take over for their loved ones without giving them a chance to enjoy life and feel that they are a part of their own decision making. Just wanting to be able to let them know I'm here for support.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I worked with IRIS prior part time, as well as the WIser Choice program so I do have experience in this area. Social Work in general has been my preferred area if employment.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Spend time with family and friends, participate in community service efforts, contribute to youth development.
