How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
It is important to identify the level of care required to accurately meet health and safety needs. I spend a lot of time discussing IRIS services and evaluate how those services apply to the individual needs of the Participant. I focus on helping the Participant identify obtainable goals and outcomes to enhance their TMG experience.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite and most rewarding experience as an IRIS Consultant without a doubt is working with Participants and their families.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Years ago, my father suffered a massive stoke and was paralyzed from the waist down. I moved him from Detroit to Milwaukee and became his sole caregiver for five years. This experience gives me personal insight of the difficulties many Participants and their families face.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love to travel, and I am a book worm. I also spend a great amount of time with my grandson.
