How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Not only do I see you, but I hear you as well. Your voice matters and you know what you envision for yourself. My priority is to listen and work in partnership to achieve the greatest level of goal accomplishment possible. Determining what resources are available and maintaining your IRIS budget, while ensuring your goal progression is on track is important to me.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
At times I think it is a selfish feeling, but I truly find joy in seeing others experiencing success and me knowing that I had a little bit to do with it. Being able to interact with people from different walks of life, with different experiences and perspectives is such an amazing opportunity and I am grateful for it.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Having worked with individuals with Autism spectrum disorder and their families for nearly 10 years, I have had the pleasure of navigating collaboratively toward creating goals as well as implementing the necessary steps for achieving them. Seeing success firsthand and the impact it has gives me confidence in my skills and a greater insight on how much a partnership truly matters.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy thrifting and going to rummage sales in the summer months. It’s all about the thrill of a deal! When I have a free weekend, I enjoy biking local trails or along Lake Michigan. I also love attending various activities for my two daughters.
