How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Clearing the path ahead to me means helping people overcome obstacles. I partner with people to make sure that people have what they need to live the life they want.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I enjoy working with families. I enjoy home visits and getting to know the individuals I am partnering with and their families. I like seeing the growth people participating in the IRIS Program go through when they have the supports and services they need.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have 6 years working in case management with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I have worked as a Service Coordinator in an apartment complex for individuals with disabilities and older adults. I also have experience working in Income Maintenance with Kenosha County.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I like to spend time with my husband and family. I enjoy shopping, reading, going out to eat, and seeing movies. I love going to Milwaukee Brewer games and watching the Badgers and Packers.
