How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
To me, clearing the path ahead means taking the time to listen and learn about the people I’m partnered with. It also means taking a genuine interest in them as individuals, focusing on their abilities, learning what they need, want and desire, and pairing them with available resources. All of this is key to creating plans that have attainable outcomes and improving quality of life.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I collaborate with IRIS resources and community resources to develop a well-rounded plan of assistance for the people I partner with so that we can find a more effective way for them to live independently.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My charisma and can-do attitude drive my passion to help those who have a desire to reach their goals. It is my pleasure to be a part of a community that loves to help others and serve those in need.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love spending my free time with my family. My wife and I have a blended family with five children in middle school, high school, college and some starting their own families.
