Before starting my journey with TMG, I worked as an Activity Director at a local assisted living facility, a Case Aide for Washburn County HHS, and an advocate for a local domestic/sexual violence agency. These positions gave me several tools to support people with extra needs in our community.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I partner with new participants by talking with them about their likes and dislikes, goals and wishes, past and future. The discussion will include any barriers or concerns. I will support the participant in setting these goals but ultimately they get the final say in every topic.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
The most rewarding part of being a TMG IRIS Consultant is the relationships with the participants. I'm proud to join them on their journey through life and support them as they'd like.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My past professional experience prepared me for this role. I learned how to work with people in their most vulnerable and difficult times. I learned patience and compassion.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. In the summer, I spend my free time camping and boating. Fall is my favorite season, and I enjoy pumpkin patches, apple picking, and scary movies. I volunteer for my daughter's Girl Scout Troop. I also like to play board games, watch live musicals, and taking an afternoon nap on the weekends.
