My prior experience includes about 10 years of working and volunteering in the community. This includes SA victims at the Sojourner Family Peace Center in Milwaukee, assisting people with autism and behavioral health disorders in their homes, and helping compromised individuals access community services that they may not have otherwise known about.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
As an advocate, I take the approach of someone who is shadowing that individual. I play off of their specific strengths and needs and keep an eye out for anything they may not have thought about that could help them as they strive to maintain their health and independence.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite part about being a TMG IRIS Consultant is that I can play a positive role in our participants' lives. It is rewarding to see people realize their wellness goals!
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Participating in a fellowship abroad where I worked with youth with disabilities and the aging population has better paved the way for me as a TMG IRIS Consultant. Working with diverse individuals and oftentimes language or cultural differences let me know that I can go anywhere and make a difference. Additionally, I studied Community Engagement and Russian in college and will use these skills to the best of my ability!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy reading/writing stories, cooking new recipes, enjoying local activities, playing tennis and relaxing with my friends and loved ones!
