Your TMG IRIS consultant is your partner as you create a plan that meets your needs and stays within your IRIS budget. Your TMG IRIS consultant can connect you to resources in your area, and will be a great source of information for any questions you have about the IRIS program. In a self-directed program like IRIS, you decide who provides your support and services and when they happen. You may have natural support from people in your life, or you may choose to purchase the support you need from an agency or someone that you hire directly. Your TMG IRIS consultant will be there to talk through these decisions with you, and will help you put a plan in place that reflects your choices.

More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I begin partnering with individuals by first establishing mutual respect and letting them know that they can trust me to be professional and respectful at all times. I also let them know that I have their best interests in mind at all times, and also that I am there to first listen to them and help them get their voice heard.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing so far about being an IRIS Consultant is being able to meet a variety of different people and their families, possibly learn about different cultures, and help others achieve their goals. I love being of service to others.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Working as a special education teacher for the past nine years has definitely prepared me to become a TMG IRIS Consultant. I have learned so much from the children and families that I have worked with. I learned a lot about different circumstances that families deal with that make it hard for them to maintain the quality of life that they desire. I also gained great insight into how individuals have different learning styles and how everyone has a strength that they can use to help them achieve their goals.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I don't have much free time, but when I do I like to get my nails done and eat at Panera. I have twin daughters who are toddlers and are full of energy. I love watching them learn and grow, and spending quality time with them. I also like to sing and watch singing shows, as well as home improvement/DIY shows.
