Prior to joining TMG, I worked for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services in a specialty department known as Long-Term Care (LTC). I have extensive knowledge and experience with eligibility processing and long-term care services such as home health care. Also, thanks to prior work and personal experience, I have worked with individuals with disabilities.

More about me
How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
To me, partnering means learning about you and your goals, then making an action plan that you feel comfortable with so that you can achieve those goals. First, I work with you to identify services or supports that are available to you. This will help to stretch your IRIS budget and keep the resources you need to get the care and support necessary to reach those important goals.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I’m a big believer in self-directed care, because it’s the path I would choose for myself. I appreciate that it allows the individual to have control over their care and goals. Helping people get the most out of life is rewarding and fulfilling. My biggest joys are when the people I partner with achieve something that they’ve worked hard at or have wanted for a long time.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My education was very important, but my real-life experience has been even more powerful for me. My employment choices have provided me exposure to a wide range of diverse populations. I’ve worked with high school students who have learning disabilities; I have assisted individuals in finding integrated employment in their community; and I have shared my knowledge of community resources with the people I partner with. I feel it is important to listen and ask questions, because some individuals find it hard express their needs. I truly enjoy the conversations that lead to learning together.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love to travel and experience new cultures. Photography is a passion of mine – the ability to capture a moment in time forever with a single click of the camera brings me such joy. I am very close with my family and enjoy time with my daughters and grandson.
